hi, it's really hard for me to judge this camera, as I'm quite new user to it and made only ~1600 photos with it... but overall I'm quite pleased with this camera, at this moment I think this is the best non dslr unit that you can get at the market... the photos are crisp, the colors are great... it can write RAW files which is really great, and the image stabilization literally rox :] you can find more my photos made with canon g9 on my picasa web album
